SOLUTION

There were three different maps that were handed out at the start. These maps had the following clues and lead to the following places:

 

1.

In shadows deep, a serpent lies,

Stone-cold coils ‘neath cave’s disguise.

Motionless, yet seeming alive,

In darkness, secrets it contrives.

Far from water and from movement

It hides somewhere for its own amusement

 

2.

In the city’s heart, I reside,
A square of grandeur, with history as my guide.
Named after a king of old,
Whose tales of rule are often told.
Near where many shuttles stand, I will wait
Let’s see if you will take the bait

 

3.

Where land and sea converge in grace, 
I stand a sentinel in this watery place. 
My wooden planks, weathered and worn, 
Embrace the waves from dusk till morn.

1. Was hidden opposite the serpent that statue in a small cave in the park.

2. Was hidden by a trash can where the busses stop

3. Was hidden on a small dock, on the small light post, facing the water.

 

Each of them had the following clue:

Of metal cast, they stand in line,
With breath of wind, they intertwine.
Their faces frozen in eternal song,
Though silent now, they still belong.
Who are they, these figures in grace?
A timeless group, in their metal embrace.

 

And the Letter A.

 

This led to the metal band statues by Stortorget. The next clue was hidden here:

 

Hidden on the side of this trash can.

The clue found here said:

Get in touch with me if you find this. You can always send me an email, you remember my old email right? It’s my firstname.lastname and the domain.

And it also gave you the letter G

You now have the letter AG

 

The second part of this clue is on the corner of the map. It said:

“let me know if you need some help
you still have my old rashidi interactive email right?
/Thomas A R”

If you email that person, an auto reply comes back with this message:

“I never thought that you would reach out again, you’re the only one left who has this email. This must mean that the ALPHA protocol is initiated. Go to D2, we used to have an old SM safe house there, NR 38. You can find the next step there.”

 

If you check the numbers and letter on the side of the map, it leads you here, to number 38:

A small fun fact is that this the previous location of Sharkmobs office, back in 2017.

 

On the side of a trash can, there was another code with this clue:

 

In your grasp, a parchment fair, 
Yet mysteries within lie bare. 
 
Daylight fails to show the way, 
Only with a special ray.
 
In the heart of where the day begins, 
A beacon waits, two lights like twins. 
 
Not sun nor moon, nor light so bright, 
But a glow that reveals hidden might.
 
Seek where your business meets its inception, 
To find the key to your next direction.
 
No hidden code in this quest you pursue,
A tool is what serves you, tried and true.
 
and the letter N.
You now have the letters AGN.
 
This text refers to the map in  your hands and needing a way to read it with a special light. The special lights were UV – Flashlights that were hidden at the reception at Sharkmob.
 
If you lit up the corner of the map, you could see the letters “KITCHEN 3” which led you to the Kitchen on Floor 3.

On the side of the vending machine there, there was another QR code. With this clue:

In your pocket, a silent guide, 
To bridge the gap, where voices hide. 
In digits entered, a message told, 
To distant ears, their secrets unfold.
 
And the letter A.
You now have AGNA.
 
The clue there, together with the message on the map:

how to reach the silent guide.
 
Will lead you to a phone number. If you convert the letters and + symbols to numbers, you get a phone number:
0768059789.
 
Calling that number, you get a message that says:
“A small square phone booth”

Hidden on the side of a lamp post, there is another clue. A picture with the text

“Your next clue is at the place where this photo was taken. Find this location!

THE LETTER IS ON THE TOWER!”

 

If you figure out where that picture is taken, it leads you here:

The tower you see in the image, is the tower with the letter I on the map.

You now have the letters: AGNAI

The next clue was hidden on the side of trash can. It said
Within these walls, secrets abide, 
Where wealth once thrived, now lies beside. 
Steel doors stand ajar, no riches to tout, 
Echoes of the past, they do not flout.
No longer filled with riches rare, 
But memories linger in the air. 
Where once the vault held treasures bold, 
Now stories whisper, of tales untold.
 
And gave you the letter M.
You now have: AGNAIM
 
The clue leads back to the vault at Sharkmob. Downstairs by REEF.

Down there, you find another clue that tells you to go to Stortorget by the statue and follow some directions.

Go towards the direction of the street to the north, be vigilant as you walk..

When you reach the way of nobility, move east. When you reach a small crossroad, go north.

When you reach the water, look to the bridge by your east side. There you will find what you seek.

 

These directions will lead you here:

This clue will guide you to your final location. It’s telling you to split up and go to two separate places. Each place has half of the message:

 

In unity, we stand, a team so true,
Yet to uncover secrets, we must bid adieu.

Our voices travel, across the divide,
Linked by our purpose, our spirits allied.

With plans in place, and strategies refined,
We split our forces, our goals combined.

Though apart in body, our minds entwine,
In shared pursuit, our victory will shine.

A delicious spot, a surfer’s delight.

Between squares vast and squares quaint,
I mark the path, where feet acquaint.

 

One is hidden by Surf Shack and the other is hidden by the small passage between Lilla Torg and Stortorget.
 
Their clues were:

HAVE WELL DAY.
END HUNT YOU ARE FINAL PIECES.
K BEFORE
THEM SOLVE
 
Reading them with alternating words gives you this complete message:
 
YOU HAVE DONE WELL THIS DAY.
TO END THIS HUNT ALL YOU NEED ARE THE FINAL TWO PIECES.
AFTER K AND BEFORE P.
UNSCRAMBLE THEM TO SOLVE IT.
 
The final two letters are the one after K and before P.
That gives L AND O.
You now have AGNAIMLO.
 
After some unscrambling, you will get the word MAGNOLIA which is the final password!
